I have a couple questions that I think may point out a possible problem with your mileage.
1.) How many miles does yuor jeep have on it?
2.) Have you done a compression check on it and does it have good compression in all cylinders?
3.) Do you have an auto or manual tranny? Well either way you could have a slipping converter or clutch if it has high miles on it.
4.) what RPM to you see when at hwy speed say 70mph? You could have a bad tranny servo and it may not be going into OD. or it could just be straight slipping and running the engine at higher rpm causing the bad mileage.
Thanks all for the info... greatly appreciated!
I think I would like to go with 33" tires with the 4.56 gearing.
Anyone have any MPG ratings for this scenario on a Jeep WJ with automatic???
Sounds from what I am reading I can expect a little bit of drop from the stock MPG as long as I do the gearing change.
