Well, I just recently bought my '89, cheap, and needing work. It's kind of a project that might take a few months to really get running right. I live right by MisfitXJ and stopped by to check out his rig last week, he's building a monster!
Anyway, I'd be up for a meet and greet but don't know how soon the XJ will be reliable enough to take it far.. It's having some issues with stalling and hesitation as soon as I start to accelerate, and has a weak alternator, and I'm low on money and time to do much else this month. But I could drive my little Ford anywhere and check out some XJ's and meet some Jeepers

hey this sounds really fumilar....sounds just like, mine. have an 89 cherokee, that needed a few months plus a couple more months to get running right. still not the best but way better than before. perfect example when i got it, i was getting 5MPG.....now 18MPHish...
but hey thatd be sweet. more the better to join. and dont rush your self on the rebuilding or tuning of your jeep. like i said, im still working out the kinks.

I am gonna try to make the meet and greet. I really want to meet more people in my area to go wheeling with. I already have plans to head to Evans on Sunday, so I probably wont be going up on Saturday (unless I am riding along with someone).
