Yeah tti headers where not in my budget. I have less than $300 into my home made headers. I built my drivers side with a cut flange and two slip fit connectors so the header would install much easier than tti but still fit just as nice. Mine are also 1.75 w/ 3" collectors.
I can't seem to get pics to load up but I have pics over on ForABodiesOnly.com in the early a body section under tips and pics for custom headers. I believe I've seen your car and the purple barracuda over on that site. I'll try again tomorrow to post some of my header pics.

Picked up a 1997 base model Cherokee for a steal. Needs radiator and ran when parked. Body and paint is immaculate and interior is dirty but will look new when I'm done

Got a set of 784 injectors ordered and also got a upgraded lifetime warranty radiator coming too. My jeep threw its serpentine belt the other day and belt bent fins enough that I got a pin hole in radiator.

Got my 784 injectors yesterday. Can't wait to get em in, mine are originals and I'm sure they are tired. These come with 5 year warranty http://vi.raptor.ebaydesc.com/ws/eBa...=1431519795272

Got my injectors installed, and boy what a difference. They looked great right out of the package. I couldn't e even tell they where refurbished. My off idle throttle is smooth and picks up a lil more kick when I get into it.

Also got my front clear marker lights in. Now while this looks odd I plan to mount a 36" led light bar in between them and shorten the grill for a almost factory look. The side marker lights will be the tinted ones which I think will look better.

Well I got me a hood and drivers side front fender that match my paint. I know my rig is a wheeler but I don't bounce it off trees and rocks. So I try to keep it looking good. Gonna wait till the end of summer before getting them on but they are in my stash of xj parts in the corner with my driver side doors now. Also got some speaker grills for the rear overhead sound bar that was missing.

Finally got my 4th flare on. These Napier flat flares are sooo much easier to install than damn bushwakers and look much nicer as well. Lots of wheel well room for all for rubbers now.
Also Jeep Jeep is doing much better on mileage with the new injectors. I'm up to 15mpg from 13.3. And that's with some heavy foot driving. Next tank I'll keep my foot out of it and see if I can get better. I'm really happy for 15mpg though with a stroker stock gears and 35s.
