i think tahuahya would be a good place theres alot of trails and alot of big open spots where alot of people can eisely park for couple hours and bulls**** eat some food and ppl can take off hit trails when ever they want just throwin a idea out there dont have to catch it though lol
I like the Idea of Flaming Geyser state park, Tahuya is not a bad idea either. So lets vote on it, Tahuya or Flaming Geyser State park? If we do Tahuya, I will bring out my rig to go play.

Did I miss a "When" in this thread somewhere?
I'd like to make one of these. Meet some folks. But I'm not 'trail-ready' yet

I would prefer Flaming Geyser because it is much closer to where I live, but Tahuya sounds good too because I would prefer to go somewhere we can wheel.

I suggest a jeep swap meet!! When's the next one and where??Originally Posted by NWhunter
So I was thinking maybe we could do a meet and greet kind of thing for people like myself who dont know everyone around here. Could also have like a swap meet and people could bring stuff they want to sell? Its an idea for people to show off there rigs a little bit too. Post a reply of what you think about it.
Is there any trails at flaming geyser state park? I've never been. Tahuya only has the trail head were we could do a meet and greet. So I'm leaning towards flaming geyser.

FYI at Tahuya on the other side from where we went in is Camp Spillman, there is a small ampitheater wth a 6' firepit and about 10 camp sites. There is also another campground back there but I cant remember the name. Plus across from where we went in is the Elfendahl staging area which is pretty big too.Originally Posted by NWhunter

Flaming geyser has no trails and is pretty much a college hangout when the weather gets warm. Pry not a good place to do a meet and greet, last time I was there you couldn't even park.Originally Posted by NWhunter
