Anyone know of anywhere decent to go for a few hour hike in the area? We're moving and the wife mentioned that she wants to experience at least a short hike before we go.

I think capitol state forest down in olympia is supposed to have bike and hiking trails. There also is a spot in snohomish that was pretty tough hiking, it'll wear kids out quick. And congrats to the Packers, they were the best team this year kinda hard not to cheer for them the way they finished the season.

Bobby those are big words coming from a Vikings fan. It feels good to hear it. Erik I might just take you up on that offer. I don't think my wife has ever actually been hiking so I don't want it to be too tough.

wallace falls out side of sultan is a good hike there is a rail road grade trail and a "normal" trail it is a nice hike not very difficult but it will tire out the kids lots of cool shaped trees n other things to look at like all diffrent kinds of fungus and other plants u can identify to live off of and to stay away from. there are a few look outs and ther is a picnic area at the falls too, its is a short hike i think only 3 or 4 miles so it can easly be done in a day. there are also alot of trails to hike out off of mt. loop hiway behind granit falls not far past verlot and gold basin camp grounds. to bad u gotta move out of the area because well sounds like u aint seen much of it all the rain is kinda blah but it rains more in other states then here, well keep the shiny side up
