I'm new to WA, and I know walker and evans are the places to go for wheeling, but i am also looking for some good spots that have somewhat fun trails/FS roads, as well as some good camping spots along the way. I know I can just take some FS roads out there and find stuff, but I dont know where to start really. I would like to find some lakes, but I rear Lake Elizabeth is the only one that is right off a FS road in the entire skykomish district? are there trails once the FS roads end that jeeps are allowed on or is it strictly for hiking?
thanks

Brown creek just outside of hoodsport is a great place to take it easy, drive miles, and miles of F.S. roads and alot of good places to camp. It's in the foothills of the olympics. Also a fav of mine is wynoochie dam, also in the foothills of the olympics. They just paved the main road to the dam, but lots of side roads to explore. Well just a few to try of endless possibilities in this state.... have fun
