Anybody know a few good places to get lockers and gears installed. I live near federal way and would like to keep somewhat local

Randy's Ring and Pinion is only an hour north of you in Everett. I'd say that is about the best place in the country to go to get gears and lockers done for you. You will get quality work and parts but, be prepared to pay for it.

$250 per axle sounds about right. I normally charge $275 for the rear and $325 for the front.

Well. Bit the bullet and I gonna learn to do gears. Somethin that's always intrigued me, after acquiring 4 different axles, I'll have plenty trial and error room along with shortening a front axle. GO BIG OR GO HOME! right?!

Its not hard to do, just make sure you understand why your doing certain steps such as bearing preload and gear pattern. It'll probaly take a while the first few times but anyone who has a decent mechanical understanding can do it.
