I got one for like 110 with those gears LSD and disc brakes in my garage right now.

i got mine with 4.10s LSD and disc brakes with 31 spline axle shafts for $220. so im thinking that $150-250 is that range they sell for based on gears and how much someone needs it. i wouldnt say your friend is high, just a little mis-informed on what ford 8.8 rear ends go for.

I'm in the hunt for a 8.8 ... anyone have one/or know one for sale ... thats a reasonable price. I would be interested!! I don't realy care about the gearing .. I plan on re-gearing anyway.
