Got the parts in transit, once they get here just gotta throw 'em on
also, sadly this is still my daily driver, so I can't really do much to the poor guy just yet. I gotta play it safe or I'm screwed.
Oh crap! I didn't see the date! I'm gonna be making a QFC run across the Peninsula this day :/ I won't be able to make it this time.
But I still wanna know what'd do to release my sway bars, and also this'll give me more time (and money) to get more recovery gear (front and rear tie down locals, and straps)
Also; while we're here, whats the your guys' choice of width/length/brand of tow straps? and do you like the straps with loops at the end, or hooks?
And for the tie downs, hooks or D rings?

Loops at the end I have two types both have pluses and minuses I only use my crap one in the mud and sand and things I won't worry if it broke its a 10,000lbs and then I have my 20,000 that I love pull anything big with it I use my front sway bar as the pull point ATM as I am re making my front bumper it's unhooked just left it there for that lol

And I'll get a tow hook trailer hitch for the rear too.

I have a rc 3inch lift with the rear sway removed and I have front quick disconnects for my front sway.I personally like running my front sway hooked up on the road , but off its unhooked.I know th ere plenty of guys that run no sways at all but ur jeep will want to roll a lot more in the corners so it takes getting used to it.with no sways hooked up off road u get way better articulation .makes it almost a must when wheeling.

Using your sway bar as a tow point is a REALLY bad idea. Its only held on by 2 thin strips of steel and when it breaks loose it will tear **** up and possibly kill somebody. Your front axle is a better bad idea lol. Get some real tow points main...
