ok so my plan to swap my lp 30 for a hp 30 to fix my front driveline angle didnt work out. So i need to get adjustable control arms. Should i get the lower adjustable or upper adjustable?

also wondering if i should just save my money and get a long arm kit instead of just a pair of adjustable arms. $200'ish vs. 650'ish. The jeep is my DD and will be a occasional weekend wheeler. I'm trying to build more towards crawling and such vs. mud.

What are your guys opinions???

To do it right, adjustable uppers and lowers are the way to go. Just one or the other probably will leaving you wishing you had both.

Of course long arms are the overall better way to go for nice offroading and nice pavement pounding.

How much lift do you have? Adjustable control arms on a lifted rig are pointless without drop brackets which is another $200.... So really you'll be at about $500-$550 to do it right, I'd say that saving the extra $100 is definitely worth it

Yeah I have a 4.5" rough country lift.

Started a thread with my issue, https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f67/vi...e-drop-142614/

I just want to put my front driveline back in! Went to a buddies to swap my lp 30 for hp 30 but he drilled the lower control arm brackets for a 3/4" bolt. No access to anything to take care of that problem so had to keep the lp 30

Olympia.

Is it just a bare housing? No gears and shafts. Or complete?

all bare but the gears and ball joints.

You can take your shafts and hubs and bolt them right on to it i believe.

I'd start with checking the switch, the relay (if it has one) and then the wiring from the switch to the motor, assuming you havent already. Kind of sounds like a bad switch or maybe PO hard wired it?

Occasionally mine wont turn on or go slow but they never run when they shouldn't.
