Default 1990 jeep cherokee Limited

Hey I just bought my first jeep last week got it for 500 so far I've changed the fluids got a new distributor cap and new spark plugs plus new tires other than that I was wondering if anyone had any advice on what I can do to make it run better. It's not running bad but I just want it to be as good as I can get it I'm by no means a mechanic but I like to work on it on my own and learn as much as I can about it. Also if anyone's up for some off roading I'm down I just moved to the Seattle area and don't know many spots to go. Thank you

What city are you located in? Being stock will limited were you can and cant go. As for your Jeep running better, Those older cherokee's (Pre the High Output) have alot of vacuum lines that tend to rot and leak over years of use. Ensure all your vacuum lines are good, no leaks, and hooked up for a solid running 4.0L.

tahuya is a lot of fun, and you can get thru quite a bit of it with a stock rig.. might need a helping hand every now and again, but nothing major.

one suggestion tho.. ditch the rear sway bar, and pick up some quick disconnects for the front.. stock suspension can flex pretty decent without the sway bars getting in the way
