Default zj to xj compatability.

Hey guys. Ive got a buddy in a local club who is upgrading his zj suspension. Heres a picture of all his new parts.

So out of all these what stock zj parts from this assortment would work on my 89 xj? His is an 01 zj.

Other then maybe the springs and shocks, probably nothing. Way different from XJ suspension, I think. We don't have the Y-Link in the rear, nor the same style control arms up front. You could possibly use the steering tie rod, but I don't know if that year would work

No but I doubt his buddy was changing any of that with the lift.

Depends on shock length and if the front ones have the threaded top where they attach to the body.
