Well i ran into another wall
When my muffler fell off i was getting measurements and noticed rusted out pass. rear floorboard right above the cat... should i buy a whole new panel, get some metal (steel, aluminum..ect) and pop rivet it in, or weld a patch? note im not a good welder at all. And how would i go about sealing it?
Thanks guys and sorry about endless questions

Noticed the same thing on mine when I got it. My muffler is all hanging in place or I would patch it in from below. My plan is to pull the carpet from above and rivet or screw in a patch using heating duct material available at the big box stores. I'd like to do it from below but It's freezing outside and for now this is less work. I want a good weather seal so I am going to dope it up with a good bit of something called "The Right Stuff" (ATV Sealant) to keep it from leaking.

cut out the rust. get some scrap sheet metal. i used the sides of an old washing machine. cut them close to fit hammer them to the right shape and them put a good heavy line of rtv dowm and pop rivit them together.
