Stumbled across this while looking at bumpers on the 89!
And look what they are "testing" it on!

I hope you are advising watch this because of the comedic aspect of it. Cant see what a single speed fan would do to help when your engine rpm's are constantly changing. Notice how they never showed any results from it.
Thx.

Seeing as this product only operated at WOT, the entire system would turn into a huge restriction in your intake. I would say it might get you gains at WOT if the entire system necked up to almost double the diameter of your intake tube and then necked back down after the impeler and motor. That MIGHT leave you with equal to stock airflow when the system is not operating.
Even still...Epic Fail on their part.

The part i found most hilarious is that they were mounting it on an XJ and kept talking about how it will come on at WOT. I don't know many people that own an XJ and run it at WOT all the time (certainly would get you nowhere in a mud pit). They could have at least had some little ricer car on there to demonstrate the install and made it more believeable!
I don't think they are kidding, well maybe the joke is on the poor sap that gives them 200 bucks for a fan! They have an actual website to sell the thing!

IF the above was achievable then you would have the same boost with no heat from exhaust and no lag.
