i rechecked everything is tight nothing seems out of place at all . i lifted my old zj 3.4 inches an never had an aligment problem or anything . thats what is stumped me . this isnt my first lifted cherokee. Could it be as easy as the steering stablizer went due to the angle of the steering all of a sudden?????????????

Could be as easy as the stabilizer, but it might maybe the trac bar needs to be adjusted.

Take the slop out of the steering box and go from there

buy a heavy duty Steering Stabilizer.. OReileys has a Rancho 5000 for $60

also.. you stock control arm bushings may be shot..
Alignment may be your ticket!

what tires are you running
and what psi are you running
try increasing the tire pressure to the max

yes. Air psi in tires. stabilizer and even the stock pitman arm may be the cause of the "death wobble." Every cherokee Ive owned has had a little wobble in it especially at 70mph. Check for a bent wheel or wheel weights being off (knocked off sometime or another). If I had it in my shop, I would go through the basics first, being the basic checks. Then I would definately look into buying a drop pitman arm.
