Angry XJ Windshield?!

Anyone know if XJ windshields are glue in or held in by the rubber along the edges?

They are held in by an epoxy all around the outer edge. The rubber molding just fills in the gap between the windshield and the metal edges.

It is about $120-150 for the whole job, the labor part of that isn't very much either.

Cheapest in my area was 199 installed. I received quotes as high as 320. So it really depends on where you live.
The breakdown on mine was:
glass 120
rubber molding 20
installation 40
supplies 6
tax 13

total 199

Call around for best price. I got mine done for $170 by a local shop here. I did not think that was too bad.
