It's an 01 XJ. I've replaced, Radiator, Hoses, Rad Cap, Water Pump, T-Stat, Clutch fan is good, E-Fan works and kicks on roughly about 213-215.

This all was replaced last winter, The t-stat was done early spring due to spikes in the temp gauge and over heating. Now here is the main problem, Over heats and Idle, Runs roughly 210 ish and climbs to 220 by that time fan is kicked on and dose not rise up more, this is idling for 3-5 minutes. This all started happening after all this work, never done it before. I was thinking about changing the temp sensor out, should I just replace the t stat housing with new sensor and do a new t stat, and what would you suggest for thermostat I should get temp wise. Jeep runs hotter then it should after t stat change from spring.

You might have gotten a bad T-Stat.

NickXj94 - I can try that, 01s have those notorious bad heads, been curious about a cracked head.
