XJ rebuild ?'s
Okay so my 87 xj's battery died right before i was gonna start my rebuild and i couldnt keep it running so i bought a 96 f250 4x4. MY xj has been sitting in the front yard with the valve cover off for about 6 months or better.
Going to start working on it soon and here are the problems i had from the get go
- Stalled out when pressing gas
- Steering was pretty loose
- Reverse was out but 1st was fine?
- Burned some oil
- 289,xxx Miles on body and motor
- Doors hard to open and shut.
My plans are to get this jeep completely rebuilt but keep it stock.
If someone can help me figure out those problems listed above i would appreciate it.
