I have a 98 cherokee with a 4-5" lift and I am currently using it as my daily driver. I am buying a truck and planning on doing some work to it and make it complatly for the off-road and I just had a few questions.
I want to put a 6-7" lift with 35" tires but I dont know what size of axle and what gears to use.. I want to make it able to drive on roads to access most trails.
any suggestion?

I'm sure someone will have a better suggestion but, I always wanted to snag a ford 8.8 out on a late model explorer when I had my MJ. they are stronger then the dana 35 have disc brakes and do an axle flip with almost no mods. I found one in a bone yard once that had 4.10's with the limited slip but I was short on cash at the time.
