Default XJ pulls to the right in 4WD

94 xj 4.0 5 speed (ax15) NP231j Tcase. This is my First Jeep/4WD and am wondering if this is the "Nature of the Beast. I used the 4wd for the first time this week as we have had some light snow and ice. while driving in 4hi there is some light pulling to the right during acceleration and when changing gears it pulls back left ( as I am still "compensating" ) then continues pulling right after gear change is complete. I have searched within the forum and can't seem to find any info. If my search attempt was indeed a feeble one, Flame away! LOL...

So, no issues in 2WD? And when applying the brakes, any pulling? Did you had some significant impact during wheeling?
The 4WD right pulling almost suggests that either front left has more torque, or right side more drag.

check your axle shaft u-joints. may as well check your tie rod ends, ball joints and wheel bearings too.

There are no issues in 2wd. I have not had the opportunity to do any wheeling as the tires were not in the best shape with severe weather cracking. tire issue was corrected last weekend with new BFG A/T 32x11.50x15's which is the size that came on it. Thanks for any and all replies and suggestions.
