Hello all, I just bought a 96 jeep Cherokee sport. Standard with 4.0 So after changing my cooling system( radiator, water pump, thermostat, cap, hoses etc...) I started noticing a rough idle and loss of power as well an unusual amount of smoke coming from the engine block. (Seems like an excessive amount for blow by.) after about a month of ignoring, it has gotten worse and now I'm hearing a very loud whistle noise that I can't seem to pinpoint. It only happens after driving it for more than a couple miles and it goes away when I press on the gas. I feel like it may be overheating but I can't tell because my temp sensor is broke. Is this multiple problems or one big problem? I'd like to do what I can myself to avoid spending to much money so all advise and solutions are welcome. Thanks in advance
