i have a 1991 jeep cherokee with 93 transmission drive shaft and axels, a 94 4.0 engine all rebuilt bored 30over and ported and polished head. now all i want to do to it is get differnt axles that have lockers or limited slip on front and back then i wanna get 4 1/2 inch lift with 31s any ideas on the gears i should get or any thing to add to it to make it better?

 

You don't state what you have for axles now. If you have a Dana 35 rear axle replace it with an 8.25. If your only going with 31s I would think for a mud machine that lockers would help.

i think i have a dana 44 in the back and a dana 30 in the front im wanting them both have lockers and a little bit stronger front axle with lower gear ratio any ideas on what to get?

none of the cherokees came locked from the factory. Only LSD

 

the D30 should be strong enough but if u want you can go with a D44 in front.
