Default XJ LSD

Are there any jeeps that have an 8.8 rear-end with a 28 spline with a factory locker,LSD?

If you're swapping in an 8.8 you want to get the 31 spline.

So you want to put a D35 into your buddies car? Not a good idea in my opinion.

Ford/Lincoln rears are not a bolt in for our Jeeps. Several things need to be done to them to prepare them. Spring perches, yoke adapter, shock mounts just to name a few.
It can be done but you are better off with an 8.8 from an explorer than from the Lincoln which is alot wider than the explorer.
See this link to help explain the swap differences.https://www.cherokeeforum.com/showthread.php?t=3847

Close, the info I was after is only the LSD, the marks have an IRS so no point to swap the entire axle, my only interest is the LSD and gears.

then your answer is no. Different ring gear size and axle shaft diameter and possible spline count.
