Default xj interior vacuum leak

I have a 2001 Cherokee classic and just about everytime I left of the throttle I get a chirp.
I tracked it down to a vacuum leak under the dash behind the glove box.

If anyone could help with a solution please let me know.

I believe that is your recirculation air door actuator tube/actuator.

If you look at your AC/Heat control panel, the middle **** is the mode selector. it controls the vacuum operated door actuators on the HVAC unit. Selection 11 in the illustration controls the recirc air door. Hook that tube back up to the actuator and start the engine. Select MAX AC (number 11) and the door should open, select any other position and the door should close.
