Ok so i have a 90 xj auto i got for free it was just a roller due to the fact that the previous owner took the motor tranny and ecu out of it an put it in his mj which was a manual so when i got it he gave me the motor and wiring harness from the manual in th mj i got a tranny from a wrecked auto xj but i went back next day to pull harness and everyhing and the jeep was gone so my question is can i use the drive shafts and the ecu from the manual in my auto set up and could i get a tcu from a 91 and up and splice it in to the manual harness or would i be better off waiting and getting everything from the right era 4x4 and swap it to mine? Any info is much appreciated thanks

I say take parts from a donor jeep that match exactly what you need. That way everything goes together fine.
