Hey there every body, I tried to find what I was looking for with the search engine but had no definitive answer, so my question is "are all XJ front drive shafts the same from I6, I4, V6 and so on", I have a 86 XJ with the 2.8L GM LR2 V6, are all other front drive shafts interchangeable? going to pick and pull in A.M. to get one so if you could let me know before the night is out that would be great..

Hmmm, well by that it depends on weather or not I have a GKN on Spice in there originally, the unfortunate part about that is I don't have the original shaft, i'll see if I can find some specs on each type of shaft, but any other info is still much appreatiated

No all of the drive shafts are not the same. You'll need one out of a 84-86 with the same drivetrain.
