XJ Factory Rear Tire Carrier, part needed
I have the latter version that mounts to the bumper. The rubber shock insert that the pin on the lift gate plate goes into has disintegrated. Does anyone know if that part is available anywhere? I'm sure it pretty much is a very long shot if at all. I believe it is called the latch pin sleeve.

A couple last ditch efforts:
Omix-ADA - Call them. They bought all the old stock after production stopped of the XJs.
FN Jeep in Colorado. Biggest indoor jeep junkyard.

Find someone with a 3D printer and CAD skills. Print a replacement part.
