XJ drive shaft
So last week after wheeling my xj i was driving and noticed a sound coming from the drive shaft. after inspecting it i noticed the u joint went bad on it. i also noticed that the drive shaft looks a little short. Mine measures 28 inches with a 242 transfer case. the junk yard around here has older xjs with a 231 and their drive shafts measure 31 inches. would i be able to pop in the longer drive shaft or no? i have a 99 xj with the 242 t case. and 5 inches of lift. by the way they want $15 for drive shaft with u joint. this is my first xj so im pretty new to all this.
