I have a 91 two door XJ and cant stand the look of the wing windows. Saw a 99 two door and it has only 1 solid window. will the doors off a 99 fit on a 91?

 

they dont fit right and the lock mechanism uses a loop instead of the bolt on stud. my 89 has no wing windows. i think the pioneers like mine didnt have them since they had ac. just a thought.

 

You can find some Xjs without the wing windows, although the quarter windows are still there. They just dont open. My 95 is like this and I prefer it to the full windows in the 97+ XJs, it blocks alot of wind, and water if it's rainin a little. Plus it's the old style latch assembly so it would bolt right on to your XJ.
