xj d35 disc conversion
has anyone put zj discs on an existing d35 and keep theABS here in australia Icant remove my ABS as it came as standard on 2000xj not an option my 35 needs work and so I was going to swap to a 8.25 but at this point I have not been ableto find one withABS so any diff conversion has to have an ABS provision so it looks like I have to repair my 35 and hence my question on zj disc conversions if anyone can hejp Iwould be grateful regards tiler 607

Yeah yeah old thread, looks like an original even. Anyway I tried searching for d35 disc abs, trying to keep it simple for the search engine, and this is the only thread that showed up, my question might have been answered in this very thread though. I found a GC, I don't recall the year, at the jy yesterday with d35c discs I was going to snag them but ran out of time and didn't have all the tools I needed. But before I left I noticed what I'm assuming was an abs sensor, will that be a problem if I try to install these on my jeep?

When I did the disc swap I ended up ditching the 35 for an 8.25. I had ABS before and it was no biggie to put on a non ABS axle. So I can only assume putting on an ABS setup on a Non ABS deal would work. That is if you are not worried about getting it to work.
