maybe crank sensor, fuel pump, bad ecu, or mechanical failure the easiest on thing to check if it has spark first if it does try sparying starting fluid down the tb if it starts bad fuel pump if it still doesnt start get a test light and check injector fire and if injector check out good check compression

Sprayed starter fluid and didn't start. I'm thinking no spark.

pull a plug wire and a plug put the plug in the wire and rest it agianst a ground, then have a friend turn it over while you watch should see a blue spark if you dont most likely a crank sensor

Cps? Cps = cranking sensor?

Not really up on all the Jeep abbreviations and what not. Or I'm having a brain fart.

I lost spark about a month ago and tested the CPS and it turned out bad. I replaced mine and it was a hassle. You need a lot of extensions and a universal. A buddy also helps a lot. You have to crawl under and snake it through onto the bolt and have your buddy get it on there nice and straight and hold it on while you turn the ratchet. Luckily I have small hands so putting the new one in wasn't too bad.

Ya I was looking at some diagrams and write ups online and it looks like a pita, good thing I'm blessed with little hands also. Looks like its going to be costing me about 90 bucks. At my local advanced auto. I'm going to see if I can find one cheaper online.

Got mine from Pepboys for like $30 if I remember correctly. It was BWD brand.
