Default XJ Bumper Switch
I have a 1989 XJ and want to know if the bumpers off a newer XJ will fit? Say 1999 to 2004

Yes. They never changed bumper mounts. You'll have to rivet on the rear bumper extension mounts.

1999-2004 is a WJ. Those won't work. The 1997-2001 XJ bumpers should work

WJ was never in the picture. His question was XJ specific. The bumpers will swap, just the end caps are different.
