Yup. Country somewhat replaced the limited trim for a few years although that came with the suspension change and things I don't want to fully put lol. My limited had leather seats and power everything. But standard suspension

Nope. The Country trim level is completely separate from the rare UpCountry option.

Country is a high trim level that includes pretty much everything Jeep offered each year.

UpCountry is an option that included a 1" lift, skid plates, and I think 3.73 gears and TrakLok limited slip in the rear

Thanks for the correction. Country replaced limited badge for a few years than limited badge came back. Iirc they are generally the same. And also thanks for the clarification with country and upcountry.

If there is a thread on this, please point me there but. I would like to know what the difference is between the 4.0 in the Cherokee, Grand Cherokee and the TJ/YJ etc.(IE JEEP JEEPS lol). To further define my question: can you drop a Grand Cherokee motor into a Cherokee? if not is it motor mounts trans mount pattern, head, intake, etc IE if I found a low mileage motor, is it a wealth of great parts or just trading material?

I'm no expert on this, despite having done a few swaps myself. Pretty much any 4.0L from '86 to '06 can be made to work, but it depends on how much work you're willing to do swapping top end parts. There are some links that I'm sure someone can provide that will go into more detail, but we could give a more specific answer of the easiest donors for you if you provide your Jeep's year and model. (I'm guessing it's a '94 XJ?)

There might be somewhere, but to answer your question quickly: All ZJ, XJ, YJ, and MJ blocks are "the same". There are some minor differences but they'll bolt up just fine. Heads are a similar story... but chances are you're not going to buy a 2000+ XJ long block, anyway.

For any engine swap in one of these vehicles always use your original accessories, unless you're SURE they're an upgrade or are compatible. There are three different fuel systems (sensors, manifolds, etc) and some other changes.
