Thanks,
But I am still l little confused (what?) There are 2 ports on this 99 . One larger port sits on a smaller line on top of the compressor and a second larger line runs from the compressor to the accumulator and has a smaller port on it near the accumulator. Not wanting to run the risk of hooking up to the wrong port, is it the larger port that sits directly on the smaller line on top of the compressor?

My bad it's the other way around, the low pressure port/line is the cold one, high pressure is the hot one. That means the low pressure port is the one on the accumulator.

Thanks for clearing that up for me. Everything I read suggested the one on the accumulator but I wasn't sure.

99 cherokee woes
Where do I find the instrument cluster fuse and or relay on a 99 Cherokee sport. I was flushing out the heater core and gotten water on the engine area and now my gauges and odometer do not work.
Thanks
Thanks

You take it completely off and then throw it away. It's worthless. I noticed very little difference without one and have been driving without one since 2002.
