thanks. My dad has a 1" drive air wrench and that's my last resort before the grinder comes out. It amazes me how easy my front suspension parts came off but how difficult the rear is to do. It only took me 30 mins to replace each sway link but 4 hours of effort and I couldn't get one shackle off.
Beware that the front leaf eye and shackle eye bolts go into welded nuts. If you break those you're in for a world of hurt. Also the bushing sleeves tend to seize to the bolts which is the bigger pain in the ***.

So my buddy has a 98 cherokee limited (mine is 98 classic). Both 4.0 aw4 with Chrysler 8.25. We did a friendly drag and I beat him by quite a bit and I had two people in my car and he had just one. He just had his in for a tune up too. Do we have different gears or something? I know he has the full time option so that might make his a bit heavier but what gears did 98s come with?

Maybe he runs ATF+4 and his transmission slipped while you won lol.
Dyno pull is good, switch Jeeps and see if anything changes.
