Like just yank on the end until it pops out? This is completely new territory for me, I've done brake work before but never a swap and I've never done anything with axles before.

You need to remove the diff cover and pull the c-clips that hold the axles in place. It's not bad, once you pull the clips the axles will slide right out. I use a magnet and tap on the outer flange to pull the clips off or just let them fall.

Im running a 6000k hid kit on my heep. Yesterday the lights were working beautifully as always. This morning I went out to go to work, pulled the switch and nothing. Any ideas?

I don't understand the question?

Mix and match brands?

Like Yukon Gears with Precision install kit? Sure.

Yes that was what I meant. I've been looking around, obviously not buying anything right now, serious offroad has precision gears D44 4.88 extra thick? Looked at precision a website and I was wondering if extra thick is the same as thick lol? Looks like it is. Any gear/ install brands to stay away from?

Most likely the ballasts. To get real good quality hids you need to spend alot of money. Those ebay universal kits are cheap garbage. But the ballast is what fires the lamps and brings them up to full color tempature. Thats where id start, its a very common problem when running hids.

yes i will check there first but the likely hood that both ballasts went at the same time seems slim, i'm gonna try refreshing the connections first

Hook them straight to the battery. See if they turn on

I have a 98 XJ SE 2WD.. Code p0500 and my speedo stays at zero. I have removed the cluster to check connections for corrosion and there is no corrosion. I checked the connectors going into the firewall and they seem to be secure as well. I changed out the larger sensor.. 55 bucks at advance auto.. and still no dice. Now I have ordered one of the other smaller sensors from rock auto. Hopefully it will be here today or tommorow. $87 bucks (it is 115ish at the parts stores) Does anyone have any experience with this code on a 98. I read a previous thread on this subject on a 97 XJ and apparently those only have 2 speed sensors. My plan now is to change out one of them and check it. If that doesnt work maybe put the old one back in and put the new one in the other slot?
If anyone has experience with this speak up :-) Thanks.

I think you can wait. I pretty sure you can also swap the internals of the prop valve.
