Default xj alignment question

On my 92 Jeep Cherokee XJ the right front tire camber is way off. The inside of the tire is wearing badly. All the front end parts are tight and nothing to the eye looks bent. I believe the camber is non adjustable on these models. How would i go about fixing this? Thanks!

My wheel is far out. What Ball joints do you reccomend. i dont mind doing the work, i cant keep driving it like it is. Do you replace upper and lower or just the lower or just the upper?

your problem is most likely a bent knuckle. i'd just change that. get one from a scrap yard. year and model is important, however...

In my opinion, if you pull the wheel down that far, you might as well change both while you're in there. I think I paid about $65 per side for greasable joints.

In addition, it will be difficult to remove just the lower if you plan to use a portable press. When I changed mine, I had to remove the upper ball joint first and then the threaded part of the tool ran through the hole where the upper joint goes when I pressed out the lower.

Ok well its not that bad ,lets say it looks about 75% as bad as your pic LOL. Ball joints are all good and wheel bearings are good... Bent knuckle,is this common?

So only one tire is angled like that? Best way to know if the knuckle is bent is to take it off and compare it to the other side for straightness.

I thought my ball joints were good too (no play) but the actual studs on my ball joints bent. take the knuckle off and see what you got. New ball joints and wheel bearings (thought those were good too but they werent) then go get an allignment. They will tell you exactilly if it is off and by how much camber adjustment is needed. Most of the time new Ball joints and wheel bearings will fix the issue. If not yours looks like a simple offset ball joint will take care of the problrm

I'd look into the WJ knuckle conversion.

4 new balljoints in the front of my year 2000 axle made the whole truck feel nearly brand new! I can only imagine what 18 year old joints feel like.
