Question XJ 97+ Custom Parts !!!

MODS IF THIS IS IN THE WRONG SECTION OF THE FORUM PLEASE MOVE AT WILL.

Hello Boys and Girls,
Let me give you a little background information on me before i start, I'm a noob to this forum, but not to Cherokee's, i've had mine a while. I'm currently a Machining student at Mid-Florida Tech, working with CAD and manual lathes and mills...lucky me and for a project within the class I'm making some custom parts that ill be selling in very limited runs for 97+ XJ's which seem to be a little lacking on the internet.

  • A few of the things I'm currently designing are a billet aluminum shifter **** that fits the manual shift rod with no modification to anything, just replacing the original. Ignore the shank on the part in the picture, this is just a prototype.(BIGGEST QUESTION HERE...What Should be engraved on the ****???)

  • Secondly, I want to replace the ugly(...well its ugly to me, not sure about you) center dash bezel, with a custom cut, engraved, and wired 1/4" drop-in aluminum replacement(kinda like a race dash)

  • Thirdly, and lastly i plan on possibly building an ac delete kit for 97+ XJ's that's just bolt-on, and can always be reversed back. It would consist of a thermostat housing with a removed heater line exit and an AC delete bracket, and any other necessary accessories. (You will see a great improvement in your mileage and weight of your Cherokee with an AC delete, especially if you plan on racing or JUMPING!!! This is currently in the design phase, tell me what you guys think!)
I claim no ownership over the idea or picture of the thermostat housing...

I really want to know what you guys think about the shift ****, dash, and ac delete kit. Tell me what you think!!!

I would need to know the thread pattern of the student transmission shafts, considering this fits the ax-15 manual.
