i was wondering what the unloaded length of a xj 4" lift coil is.

about the same length as a stock coil. It's the thickness and spacing that's different in the coil springs.

ive got a set of springs that i dont know how much lift they are. the jeep they came off of had tubular lower control arms.

possibly a 3.4-4.5 " spring with the fixed lower arms. but need to measure for sure. perhaps post a pic and can see the thickness difference

the lca's on donor jeep were adjustable too. sorry forgot to add that.

the kid i got the axles and springs from cut the lca's with a saws all so unfortunately theres not much there of them.

RE springs free lenth for a 4" is 21" and is smaller wire then the 5.5 at 22.5"

Finally got measurements. then unloaded length is 20" with a wire diameter of about 11/16". any input on how much lift these might be would be great. thanks.
