Having a issue with my NP 242 ... I will go into Part Time 4WD no problem will not go into Full time at all, just stays in Part Time... when I bought it it would go but you had to mess with it a little bit now it won't go at all ... any ideas?

 

No clue, but mine has vacuum lines that fall off.

 

Tle lever won't budge or it just doesn't go into gear?

 

The lever moves fine thru all the positions

 

I have to back up and pull forward to get all my tires spinning in Full Time. It's a brand new under warranty 242 so I dunno... Does it shift into 4-Lo?

 

THe Shifter goes in but it still only reads part time on the dash
