Default Wrecked my xj... As in...

Don't know if this goes here but... Week ago was comin home from band practice... Rainy road... Dark night... Oem headlights... And not familiar with the road... Anyhow... Did a 180 and flipped into ditch into roof. Still runnin while flipped over till the engine was starting to starve from lack of gas. Never knew how hard it was to get your seatbelt off when you're upside down. Waited till today to start her... Purrs like a kitten... Roof? Not good... Just lettin you all know that I trust my life totally in a Jeep Cherokee. Will post pics

Toss one in the console cause a belt knife may not do you any good if you can't reach it

Surprisingly NONE of the windows shattered or cracked... One popped out... So next step is to pound out the roof and try fixing support stuff

I really don't know. I know front end is lightly (lol) damaged and needs stretched back to somewhat normal

Still looks surprisingly good. Just pound out what you can and grab some odds and ends at the closest junk yard and keep rolling.

How much money did you save by not replacing that tire? How's that stack up against a wrecked Jeep?

That much difference between the treads on different tires means you are pretty much rolling the dice every time it's a little bit wet and you have to do something other than going in a straight line, and sometimes even when going in a straight line.

That roof will never be crashworthy again. It might be made to look okay (doubtful, but not impossible), but it will never be strong again.

I suspect you have some serious alignment problems, if not suspension or frame damage in the front end.

Glad you're okay. Hope you don't ever do that again!

It looks like the entire front clip is bent toward the drivers side.
Unibody frame bent?
If so this is now a parts jeep.

She's saved your life and now she's done.
At least you have a good parts Jeep.
