I hate saying it, but I think I would find a replacement XJ and part your old one out. Even if you can't find one locally, it is probably worth traveling to get one - rust is a real pain to get rid of, and I think she may be a bit far gone... I see 2-3 XJs a day in the DC area alone that look like good deals, and are fairly clean as far as rust goes.
Quick story - my uncle had a '67 Chevy hardtop that he broke in half, due to extensive rust problems. Almost killed him: he hit a bump, broke the rear part of the passenger frame rail just in front of the axle, and lost control at about 70 MPH... With the stresses placed on a Jeep, I don't think you would want to take the chance, especially in (god forbid) a crash.
Good luck, and be careful!

Time for some boatsides, cage, coil over con., lengthen wheelbase, pro cut quarters, and new floors/tunnel for that doubler. LOL sorry this really sucks. You would be better off using it for the good parts.

well i found this site http://wholesalemopar.com/parts_catalog.html It sells like every body part including the frame rails and the floor pans, just cut out the old piece and weld in a new one, i think i'm going to do that. My dad found this site for his YJ he's ordered like five parts they are relatively cheap considering what they are, and they are always in really good condition when they get here.

Well that's a start. Cut out all the rust and hit it with POR-15 before installing the new panels. Are you going with coils, or keeping leaf springs?

ok well just canceled my orders on the floor and i'll order it from there thanks for the link on that one. Does the floor pan on this go all the way back into the cargo area? it looks like it stops right under the back seat.
I think i'm going to end up keeping my leaf's for now maybe at some point i'll get around to the coil's that would be sweet.

That's what i was asking, i'm not sure cause the 400 dollar one's was like a complete thing but i just found out they don't make those parts anymore... why the hell is it on the site if they don't sell it anymore?

Don't waste money on sheet metal floor pans before/unless you get the sub-frame fixed first. You can get the whole frame/floor section cut from another vehicle and have it welded in. Plan before you spend!
the pans go from front just under the peddles to the cross member under the rear seat.
they are galvanized and rigid. not sure on the thickness though. I ordered both side and have done the pass side only. the structural members you are talking about are not connected to your stock floors but instead the unibody itself. the seat belt and seats are all tied in together. I will post pics with in a few minutes.
