Worth Lifting??!
I have a 1997 Jeep Cherokee Sport, it has 210,000 miles on it, but the engine was just rebuilt a few months ago since I pretty much shredded a cylinder... But I have always wanted to lift it, probably about 3" but was wondering if it's worth putting the money into with so many miles, it's still going strong and now have no problems with it what so ever. Any opinions and suggestions would be great! Thanks =)
yeah jack er' on up....but for real man these engines are know to last for like 300,000 on up so yeah ide do it, rough country has good quality lifts for a good price so ide look there
hahaha I'm a girl, so I plan on never having fat chicks gettin in my jeep. and thanks for your help guys! As soon as I get the money, its going up! and another question, whats the difference between add-a-leaf and going with the more expensive type? I've heard that its better to spend a little more money than goin with add-a-leaf.

the add a leafs wear out more over time, and with 210000 miles your stock springs im sure are worn out so go ahead and get the full leaf packs youll be happy you did, or if you are like me and like a more rough ride you can take leaf springs out of another truck or suv and stack them in there, there is a link on here somewhere im sure someone will follow up with the link but i believe its a 2.5inch leaf that is the right size, you can use any 2.5 leaf just cut to proper length, as far as the front you can get coils out of a v8 grand cherokee and i think its a 2 inch spacer to do your front lift, also look at your break lines and shocks to make sure they are the propper length.
