Lesson learned: muddy trails and 235/75/215's don't mesh well. I lost control and hit a tree (5-10mph). I definitely need a new driver side fender, header panel, and bumper. My '01 xj is sitting stock. The front of the engine bay is tweaked inward an inch or two, leaving the electric fan rubbing on the front of the engine bay. There doesn't appear to be any unibody damage- given it's driving perfectly straight. I've taken it up to 60-65 and it is still in good alignment. What concerns me the most is how i'm going to tweak the front header area back. I know it will probably never be the same. Any advice? Thanks in advance. -Nick

Take it to a body shop with a frame machine.
They can strap it down and get a pull on it.
Then you can replace the exterior panels.
Got any pics?

All good ideas- however I have to stick with a plan that involves keeping the xj as my daily driver It's all I have and all I can afford at this point. I'm a broke college student with a 2 year old. I'll take some pics and hopefully get them uploaded this evening. Thanks everyone.

do what im going to do with mine go to junk yard and cut out the sub frame out make shure you dont cut too much less remove the damage one and tack weld it new one in if you look at the body its just a big puzzle verry easy to do body on these....
I need to disconnect the electric fan. I pulled the fuses and it still runs. How can I get this damn thing to stop running?
I unplugged the plug that runs right into the efan. It was awkard to get my hand in because of the air box. I figured it must be the power for the efan- but it still ran.
I got the efan unplugged. Planning to try to pull the bumper out with a strap and tree tonight. Here are some pics of the damage.
