Default Won't start sometimes

okay guys I have a 93 XJ 4.0. Sometimes the XJ won't start. It only starts when I put the key in, shift it down and then put it back in park, then it turns over. I've already changed the trans solenoids. Not sure what it could be and I don't want to rip it apart. Would help if you can narrow it down becuse in sure you have seen this issue before. My XJ turns over fine most of the time. Just sometimes I gotta shift it hard for it to turn over. Thanks.

Neutral Safety Switch.
Search on the site under NSS.
Lots of info on fixing it on various posts on here.

Just be carefull when removing it because its about $250 at the parts store if you break it and cant wait on one to come in the mail. Mine was fused to the rod it slides over and after breaking most of it off I still needed to take a torch to it and pull it off with vice grips. Try to just adjust it first by loosening the bolt and moving it a little in either direction. That might be all it needs.
