So recently my 89 xj devolved a miss. So I bought a cap and rotor and put it on. I have triple checked the firing order. And it still won't start. I'm getting spark. When I was changing the rotor button it was being a pain in the butt to get off and I may of rotated it a tad. (I have tried to slightly adjust it sense) The only thing it does is flood. It doesn't even try to fire. Just turns over and over. Here's what I'm thinking. Set the engine to top dead center manually and then adjust the rotor button to cylinder one. Any opinion or advice would be much appreciated
