Wiring OEM XJ powered drivers Seat into Sport XJ?
Like the title says I'm looking to wire up my drivers side leather seat. It's from a limited and all the wiring is on the bottom except for the loom that should be on my floorboard somewhere. So what would be the easier most effective way to do this? I was thinking just run a wire to the battery and change out the connector on the bottom to match to the new. Question is since they would be "hot" all the time would it kill the battery? Also would it potentially burn up since there isn't an inline fuse? I mean I could just throw one inline when I run the new line to battery. Excuse my rambles. Please review and advise.

If you have a 25 Amp circuit breaker (#29) in the Junction Block, and have a connector (C6) and harness hooked up to the JB, you probably have the harness prewired in your XJ. The power wire from C6 is a Red/Light Blue tracer wire. The ground wire at the connector to the Left Power Seat switch is a Black wire.

The connections were curled up next to the transmission tunel, I think there is even a slit in the carpet under the seat for the connector to come through, I'm talking about a 97 model, may have changed by 2001.

Well I found the connector on the passenger side floor board and c6 had the connector. Just missing the breaker. Now I just need to figure out where to get one of those. Ideas?
