Wiring harnes for trailer
Is the install the same as the grand cherokee for the traler plug? I just bought my jeep and didn't knoe it didn't have one. Not a big deal though I found a vid on youtube that had and install for a grand cherokee I was just wondering if it was the same?

Behind the interior panel where the spare tire is at is a connector for the tail light harness. For the Hoppy kit, you unplug the harness there and plug the Hoppy tee in between. The trailer light harness then comes out of the "side" of the tee. With other harness kits I had to splice in, but it was in the same place.

I verify that. If you pull out the spare, and then take the plastic side panel off, there is a connector that goes to your tail light's. Just unplug the connector, put the tee in between them, and run your new trailer wires out your body plug behind your driver tail light and down to your trailer hitch.
