i broke out the multimeter and tested every connection i could think of and they all had power, so something def isnt right. ive got my lights grounded to my bumper the steel is 3/16ths, they are getting power from the fuse block with and inline fuse that is good the fuse hasnt blown, ive tried three different switchs and used two diff grounds and checked the bulbs and they look good still. so i dont kno i hope this helps you guys to help me

OK, you have a meter. Turn the lights on and see if you have voltage. If not work backwards until you get some. If you do, do you know how to use the ohm meter to check your bulbs?

If you do have a real multimeter, then there is an ohm function on it. You probably just never have used it because you don't understand it. Once you do, electrical troubleshooting will get much easier. What is does is measure resistance, which you don't need to know about right now. But if you take the leads and put them together you will notice that it tones if it is a digital and if analogue it will read 0 ohms. That means there is a good connection. So if you put one lead on each wire of your lamps, it will tone and read some resistance, or if analogue it will read say about 10 ohms. That means the bulbs are good. If nothing happens, the bulbs are not good.

i didnt wire with a relay that is one thing that has escaped my mind, im not that great with wiring, but one thing i realized was that i could take the power wire and tough it to the battery to see if the lights went to crap on me, so i did that and the lights came on so i just went ahead and wired straight to the battery with a fuse inline yeah i kno i should figure out the relay thing but after workin on lights for the last two days i said screw it, so i wired to the battery and taadaa, "AND HE SAID LET THERE BE LIGHT" and so it was my lights are workin.
the relays are really simple go get a relay at the parts store and install it you need a ground a power a runner and a switch wire basicaly what the realy does is only put a small amount of amperage into the switch to prevent burning up the switch if you google it you will be able to find a wiring diagram anymore questions post em up

OP i'd say the relay went bad or you have a bad ground somewhere
