Has anyone ever had this problem? I have an 89 cherokee that the radio, clock and the dome lite works when it wants. They must be on the same wireing circuit because when they work they all work or not at all. I tried to jiggle the wires under the dash and nothing.

 

Check you fuse, it might be loose.

 

that was exactly it. fixed it was the fuse for the dome lite. thanks
